Job Summary

As the Sales Support for Trustmarque, you will play a critical role in delivering an excellent and efficient Support service for our customers and for the Sales team. Providing quotations, using a range of systems, and communicating effectively with the relevant teams. The team is pivotal in providing an efficient customer service for our customers. The team are currently going through a transformation and training plan which will elevate the value we can add to the quoting and ordering experience

 

Accountabilities and main responsibilities

  • Sourcing hardware and software quotations from our preferred supplier base, taking into consideration cost price, stock and commercials
  • Raising customer facing quotations
  • Identifying savings, special bids, and Deal reg opportunities, and recording them on a central database
  • Adhering to a 4 hour SLA response for all requests in the mailbox
  • The ability to prioritise and work efficiently, highlighting any issues to management if any delays
  • Working collaboratively with the team, via a shared mailbox and managing own work accordingly
  • Proactively engaging in training and up skilling to the best of your ability
  • Good Teamwork, ensuring you offer help and assistance if others in the team are busy
  • Build and develop professional relationships with all the Sales Team and regular customer contacts
  • Attending customer/supplier or Sales calls to ensure you are fully up to speed on any urgent requests and have an overall idea of how the account is running
  • Managing the CRM system for Lead generations and Account Moves between the sales teams
  • Cross training other team members as and when required
  • Working closely with other departments within Business Enablement to resolve any customer queries/issues
  • Identifying improvements in processes
  • Proactively identifying training needs and working with Alliances or the vendor to setup training sessions
  • prioritising urgent requests and managing own workload effectively
  • Driving efficiencies, savings and value add with our Sales team and customers
  • Build relationships with key contacts, customers, suppliers and vendors

 

 

Qualifications and skills

Essential

  • Strong communication skills, with colleagues and Senior Management, via Teams video or email
  • Ability to prioritise and manage own workload whilst multi-tasking
  • Excellent Attention to detail
  • Working under pressure in a fast past environment
  • Ownership of requests and ensure the requests are managed through to completion within agreed timescales
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Embracing change
  • Use of MS Office packages and experience of working in an office/team environment
  • A proactive, problem-solving individual who challenges the status quo
  • Working within a similar role within an IT Reseller

 

Desirable

  • Understanding of basic quote to order process flow
  • Experience using CRM or an E-Commerce tool
  • Working from a shared mailbox and mailbox management
